Treat yourself in our restaurant
Barleymow’s cafe / restaurant serves delicious home cooked, traditional food made from our own reared meats and local produce. A destination in its own right whether you visit the shop or not!
We are now able to offer inside and outside seating.
Cafe near Chard, Somerset
If you are in the Chard area, call in, as well as delicious food, we have a large free car park, lots of space and wonderful views. We’re just half a mile west of Chard, Somerset on the A30 so you can avoid Chard town centre traffic.

Opening Times
The restaurant is open:
Monday to Saturday 8.30am – 5pm,
Sundays and Bank holidays 8.30am – 4pm
We serve breakfast – both full cooked or lighter options and pastries, morning coffee, lunch and snacks and cakes throughout the day.
Restaurant Entrance
Access to the restaurant is currently through the side patio doors. There will be no access between the shop and the restaurant. This will enable us to manage numbers and avoid any over crowding in either the restaurant or the shop.
The Menu
We serve delicious, home-made, locally produced food throughout the day alongside coffee, tea, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks. We can cater for allergies so please mention when you order.
We have a regular menu plus a specials board.
Tables
We have plenty of picnic tables outside. We ask you to please follow any instructions on our signage. Thank you.
Toilets
The toilets for the restaurant are open.
Whether you are relaxing with a coffee after shopping in our Farm Shop, or stopping with your friends for lunch as you travel through Somerset, we look forward to serving you at Barleymow’s cafe.
Keeping you safe during the coronavirus pandemic
Our Farm Shop has been open throughout the lockdowns and the safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. Our shop and cafe are open.
Please look for signage at the entrance of the shop or restaurant and follow the rules and procedures we have in place. THANK YOU.
Pre-order for collection and deliveries
For those who do not wish to come into the shop we are offering a pre-order and collect from the car park service. You can pre-order and pre-pay using a debit or credit card then call us when you are in the car park and we will deliver your order to your car.
